https://www.istudy-china.com/      Related What are the advantages and disadvantages studying in China? Hello! My name is Clara and I am a former student of University of Nottingham Ningbo. I was an exchange student and lived in Ningbo for several months. So, I learned plenty of things. Even though, I bring with me positive memories, I also carry some downsides. China is a very complex country. It’s like going on a boat on a peacuful river and occasionaly having to dodge the obstacles in your way. Sometimes it’s just a rock and sometimes it’s a big current. The qualities of Chinese universities varies greatly, and i think you should check which university you would like to attend. For example, one of my friend in Jiaotong University says that she need to do a lot of research and homework in her spare time, and the workload is almost as heavy as those US top universities. However, another guy in a private university (p.s:private universities are usually not good ranking ones, and most Shanghai parents consider them backups to ensure that their kids' college degree.) says that he often cut classes in order to play Dota in the dorm. I believe that you should choose top universities like Jiaotong, Fudan, Tongji if you want to go Shanghai, or Tsinghua, Peking in Beijing. By the way, I believe metropolises are better for foreigners.(And the admission is far easier for foreigners) After choosing the correct school, yo...
